Katrina praises SRK for his chivalry

'He is very gentlemanly. He will always open the door for you. If you come in, he'll stand up and he always pays attention to the small things,' Katrina, 28, told reporters Monday at a promotional event of 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' (JTHJ), in which she has teamed up with the superstar.

'When we were shooting the song 'Ishq Shava' (for JTHJ), it was freezing cold. As soon as it was called cut, he would make sure I had a blanket. You don't see that a lot these days. Gentlemanly behaviour has gone out of fashion, so it's nice to see it,' she added.u00a0However, Katrina is sad that the Switzerland song planned by late Yash Chopra for 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' could not be shot and reveals 12 saris were readied for it.

'Personally, I think it was a little bit sad, it was a little bit emotional for us that we didn't get to do it. Yashji (Chopra) kept on coming up to me and saying that it's not going to be a shoot, it's going to be a party, we are not working,' she said.u00a0Plans to shoot the song have been cancelled after Yash Chopra's death. He died of multi-organ failure Oct 21.

'We had actually done the entire costume fittings, there were 12 saris which Manish (Malhotra) had made, and Yashji saw each one of them. He had also planned a sequence in the water (in freezing cold) and we were laughing about it. He said now we will just go to Switzerland and party,' said the actress.u00a0'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' also stars Anushka Sharma and will hit theatres on Diwali.
