Directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski will return behind the lens, and screenwriter Derek Kolstad will provide the script again, reported Ace Showbiz.
"With such tremendous fan and critical support for 'John Wick,' we knew that there was still so much more of this story to tell," said Jason Constantine, Lionsgate's President of Acquisitions and Co-Productions.
"We are thrilled that Keanu, David and Chad have re-teamed with us and promise to bring audiences even more excitement the second time around."
The original movie was supported by Michael Nyqvist, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, and Willem Dafoe. Made on a modest budget of USD 20 million, it has raked in over USD 78 million worldwide since it made its way out in October 2014. It's unclear if any other original cast will return for the second one.
