The victory was sweeter as Bombay Scottish made it to the boys' U-12 Division I final after a gap of 10 years.
Ethan Falcon got the lead for St Stanislaus through a brilliant strike on the right side of the goal in the 13th minute to end the first half
After the break, Ryan Davar equalised for the Mahim school in the 40th minute from a cross of Arihann Das through the right flank to end the match 1-1 at full-time.
In the tie-breaker, Yash made four crucial saves. His first came off St Stanislaus' Varad Parab from the second spot kick when he dived to the right side to punch the ball away.
After that, he warded off Shane D'Costa in the centre of the third spot kick and then he saved Adrian Kadam's fifth spot kick in the centre.
