British tennis star Andy Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears has said 'No' for BBC One's ballroom dancing competition 'Strictly Come Dancing'. The 25-year old has been with the Scotsman since 2006 with the two getting engaged earlier this year.
Not to be deterred, BBC One is reportedly going to convince Andy's mum, Judy, to compete in this year's edition instead. A source told The Sun newspaper: "Judy would be great. It's wonderful that she's such a fan. Kim has declined. We would love a Murray in some form."
Judy's close friend and former tennis ace Andrew Castle - who took part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2008 said, "She's a huge 'Strictly' nut and would love to do the show. I reckon she'd surprise people. I'm sure she's got the moves."
Castle believes Wimbledon champ Andy would be supportive of his mother. He joked: "Andy would be supportive but might be embarrassed and have to watch through his fingers."
