Imagine knotting ten national flags around the neck to show unity in diversity. At hubby Martin Luther King III's recent appearance in the capital, wife Arndrea Waters did just that. The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Memorial held at Teen Murti House yesterday not only saw King delivering long lessons in world peace and non-violence, but also a silent and rather colourful reflection of his speech on wife's collars.

MiD DAY quizzed her on the bold, bright number, she said, "Oh... there're flags of many countries in thereu00a0it stands for solidarity." Though the Indian tri-colour wasn't among any of the prints on her wrap, it had a special place. "The orange background? That reminds me of India!"

As King dwelled on how Obama had raised new hope for the world and how Nelson Mandela always upheld the race against racism, his lady chipped in "But if there was no Gandhi, there'd be no Obama!"
