Complaints have been filed against Kings XI Punjab players, including S. Sreesanth and Mahela Jaywardene, for breaching security in this Himachal Pradesh town, police said Tuesday.

"We lodged a complaint with the Kings XI Punjab team authorities today (Tuesday) for breach of security by their players, including S.Sreesanth and Mahela Jaywardene. They slipped out of team hotel late last (Monday) night without informing the authorities," Superintendent of Police Atul Fulzele told reporters here.

In the complaint, Fulzele asked the team management to direct the players to adhere to the security norms.

A police official said the players reportedly reached McLeodganj, near here, and remained there till late at night.

The Kings XI Punjab team reached this town Monday for its first match with Deccan Chargers April 16, which will be a day and night match. Its second match, to be played in the day, is with the Chennai Super Kings April 18.

The Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) stadium here is being counted as the second home ground for the Kings XI Punjab team, which originally belongs to Mohali near Chandigarh.
