Kyrgios calls Olympic legend Dawn Fraser a 'blatant racist'
London: Nick Kyrgios (left) has accused Australian Olympic swimming great Dawn Fraser as a ‘blatant racist’ after she said players like him should ‘go back to where their parents came from’ if they cannot behave.
Australian Kyrgios, who has a Greek father and Malaysian mother, was criticised in his country for his on-court antics when he was beaten by Richard Gasquet at Wimbledon on Wednesday. It appeared as if Kyrgios stopped trying during his defeat to Richard Gasquet at Wimbledon.
He was also given a code violation for bad language. Fraser (77), who won the 100m freestyle at three successive Olympics (1956-1964), said it (tanking it) was absolutely disgusting . Fraser said that players should be better examples to the younger generation of their country.
