Lava launches Iris Fuel 10, Iris Fuel 25 with big battery packages in India

New Delhi: Domestic handset maker Lava on Friday added two more smartphones to its flagship Fuel series-- Iris Fuel 10 and Iris Fuel 25-- priced at Rs 6,541 and Rs 5,666, respectively. What makes these devices a good deal is their enhanced battery capacity and that too at an affordable price.

The Lava Iris Fuel 10 features 4.5 inch display with 480 x 854 pixels resolution. The device is clocked at 1.3 GHz Mediatek Quad Core Processor which is complimented by 1 GB RAM.


The smartphone is equipped with 5-megapixel camera on the rear with auto focus feature and with BSI+ sensor paired with LED Flash. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the front with improved sensors for selfie enthusiasts, and the handset also sports a selfie button on the rear cover and voice controlled image capture option. The smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4 which is upgradeable to Android Lollipop 5.0 soon.

The device is bundled with internal storage capacity of 8GB which can be further extended up to 32GB through a microSD card slot.

Lava Iris Fuel 10 supports 3G connectivity, micro USB v2.0, Bluetooth V3.0 and Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) on connectivity front. The device is packed with 3,000mAH Li-Polymer battery which the company claims offer 14 hours of continuous 3G talk time along with 6.5 hours video playback and 60 hours music playback time using earphones.

The Iris Fuel 25 features a 5 inch TFT display and is clocked at 1.0 GHz dual-core processor clubbed with 512MB RAM. The device gets internal storage of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

It is also equipped with 5-megapixel camera on the rear and VGA camera on the front. The device runs on Android KitKat 4.4 and has a 3,000 mAh Li – Polymer battery to fuel its opeartions which the company claims that it will offer 15 hours continuous talk time on a 3G network and 45 hours audio playback time.

Both the smartphones come clubbed with complimentary Airtel 500 MB of 3G free data offer for two months. This offer is valid till June 30 and is applicable to only prepaid consumers.
