Lawyer Janhavi Gadkar may soon get the colour of her Audi Q3 car changed, after her application for it was accepted by a Sessions Court on Wednesday.

The application filed by Gadkar sought to change the colour of her red Audi to white, reasoning that the same shade was not available.
The Judge, while passing the order said, “Before granting permission, it is essential that the vehicle is inspected, so as to find whether it is mechanically fit to ply on the road.”
Gadkar had filed the application, after the Judge in December while returning the car to her had passed an order saying, “The applicant is permitted to get the said car repaired without changing the colour of the car, and to maintain the same, after getting approval from the RTO authority about the use and fitness of the vehicle.”
On June 10, 2015, the Audi driven by Gadkar rammed a taxi, resulting in the death of two persons including the taxi driver on the Eastern Freeway.
