Learn the ropes of filmmaking from scriptwriter Ram Yadav, who will be conducting a five-day workshop in the city on scriptwriting, filmmaking and acting.
“In this five-day workshop, participants will get to know the insights of film scriptwriting. My attempt will be to enlighten them about the basics of the scriptwriting by teaching them the five basic steps of how to go about it,” says Yadav, explaining that the first would be the synopsis which is the outline of the script, and then there is formation of the short story.

The workshop will also touch upon subjects like filmmaking and acting
“Here, your imagination and visualisations help to a great extent. After this, an important step of writing the scenes comes; where you have to focus on dialogues, technical considerations and even about the break-points of your scenes. After categorising, you start writing your final draft (the master draft) of the script in the final step,” adds Yadav.
Though the workshop will primarily focus on the art of script writing, Yadav will also touch upon the techniques of filmmaking and will also share some important tips about acting. It is open to people of all ages.
