Your weekend, we mean. A cool new carnival in town kandy floss brings a plethora of activities and goodies all under one roof, so that your beau and brats can let their wild side loose as you pick from designer labels

Feels like long since you attended a fun summer carnival with family? Thankfully, there's no end to great galas in the city. A sassy soiree round the corner is Kandy Floss, which promises cool shopping and fun-filled activities for kids and adults alike. And, all this is for a noble cause: part of the proceeds of the carnival will go to Delhi-based NGOs that work for social causes. "For the first time, we have organised this unique exhibition, which is a multi-asset for everyone. It has a blend of everything, from workshops and performances to designers and weavers. We have made it a point that children are not neglected," says Kiran Sharma, Director of ITE India, the organising body.

Here, your li'l ones can learn to create, design, explore and use their imagination. There are interactive workshops and hands-on activities such as photography, pottery, art lessons, creative writing skills, theatre, personal grooming and etiquette and cooking classes, apart from games and music.

Shop stop

While the brats are at their play, you can pick from clothes, shoes, jewellery, gift items, furniture, books, toys and natural skin and hair products. Prefer designer labels? Rohit Bal, Ashima-Leena, Manish Arora, Anju Modi and Ambika Pillai are just some of the names on display. "The whole idea behind our participation is to lend a brand name to NGOs. The prices will be such that they meet the crowd's expectations, and we are doing this on the grounds of humanity," reveals Leena Singh, one of the participating designers.
