Indo-Serbian third seeds Leander Paes and Janko Tipsarevic beat second seeds John Erlich and Andy Ram 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the Chennai Open doubles title.

Paes joined the select band of players who have won titles in 15 consecutive years, after winning yesterday's final in just 73 minutes.

Paes said: "Janko is a true champion. After seeing him give it all and losing the singles, I wanted to make sure he left Chennai Open with his head held high and with a title."
