Paes joined the select band of players who have won titles in 15 consecutive years, after winning yesterday's final in just 73 minutes.
Paes said: "Janko is a true champion. After seeing him give it all and losing the singles, I wanted to make sure he left Chennai Open with his head held high and with a title."
