Peter Ford, the entertainment commentator told radio station 3AW that nothing had been announced since after last year’s talk of a tour, Sydney Morning Herald reported.
Ford added that suggestion was being put to him that tour will never happen and they will never see the rock band performing again or record again.
The claims for the band’s retirement were originally made in an email to Perth radio station 6PR by a person who identified himself as “Thunderstruck”.
