England and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy’s wife, Rebekah has revealed that she nearly broke her husband’s fingers when she went into labour while giving birth to their son, Finley recently.

The couple welcomed their second child earlier this month, but not before a medical emergency complicated matters.
“I was screaming to the midwife, ‘just break my water’ but she wasn’t allowed to because if I needed emergency treatment, there were no consultants available. The pain of labour was so intense, I was holding Jamie’s hand and I nearly broke his fingers.
“The worst moment was the amount of blood and water which came after Finley. It was not a pretty sight. It was like Niagara Falls,” said Rebekah, who married Vardy (30) in May last year, was quoted as saying in an interview with OK magazine.
