100 MBA students duped of Rs 25000 each by a conman

Gaurav Juneja is no ordinary cheat; his victims were not ordinary people either. Gaurav duped more than 100 MBA students of Rs 25 lakh in the name of providing them jobs.

Gaurav was running his office in Naraina area for the past one year. He published advertisements in newspapers regarding job opportunities for MBA degree holders. More than hundred graduates approached him after reading his promises.

"Gaurav lured us in the name of arranging jobs for us in multinational companies. He charged us Rs 25,000 each on the pretext of providing us a laptop. He said that this was a security amount and would be refunded later. He took a demand draft from each of us," said Deepak, one of his victims, who lives in Naraina area.

Deepak also stated that Gaurav provided him jobs in some companies but only as a trainee and he wasn't paid a single penny for that. The conman told all his victims that training period of three months was a must and only after that will they be able to get a job with a handsome salary.

But he could not arrange such a career opportunity for anyone after the stipulated period and started avoiding them. His victims approached the police. They gathered at his office which was found locked. Gaurav wasn't there.

The furious students went on a rampage. Finally the police intervened into the matter and arrested Gaurav from his residence.
