Let the feasting begin

Starting this Monday, one of the first Bengali restaurants to open in the city, Oh! Calcutta will serve their Pet Puja Buffet that will offer over 20 Bengali delicacies including Mochar Chop, Chingri Malai Curry, Kancha Lonka Murgi, Phoolkopi Shorshey, Aloor Dum, Bhaja Moonger Dal, Kheer Kodom, Chaler Payesh and more.

Feast on a different meal everyday as Bhojohori Manna will have a different menu with vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals for five days. The meals include several traditional dishes such as Bhaja Moon Dal, Alu Bhaja, Chholar Dal and Mishti and Paan to end every meal.

Go back in time at Bijoli Grill where food will be served the way it was at traditional weddings in Kolkata several years back. Bijoli Grill will have unlimited portions served of several Bengali specialities such as Aam Porar Sarbot, Fish Fry, Sorshey Narkol Phoolkopi, Mutton Chop and Patol Kasha as a part of it’s Sharad Utsav celebrations.

Golden Star Thali’s Navratri Rasoi Utsav includes a blend of Gujarati and Rajasthani specials such as Tindola Sambharia, Jodhpuri Gutta, Mevadi Pulao, Dry Fruit Batata, Dal Bati Churma and mouth-watering sweets such as Angoor Rabdi, Kesar Puran Polis, Desi Ghee Jalebis, Dry Fruit Sheera and Gulab Jamun.

Get a mix of sweet and spice, which forms the essence of Gujarati cuisine with varied dishes such as Gujarati Kachori, Farali Patice, Bhindi ni Kathi, Dudhi Chana Dal, Gujarati dal, Tarkari Na Pattice for starters, and Sev Tameta nu Shak, Vatana ni daal, Methi patla and Masala Puri for the main course.

Head to Neel for their special vegetarian menu that will make you forget your chicken with dishes such as Kumbh Makai Sheek Kabab, Til Doodiya Paneer Tikka, Gucchi Taal Makhana Korma, Soya Aur Peshawari Mattar Ka Pulao, Bhindi Panchforam, Baghara Mirchi Ka Baingan and Doodiya Channa Dal Masala.
