Ever since Nawazuddin Siddiqui appeared in Sujoy Ghosh’s Kahaani, he has not had to look back. The actor even went on to win the National Award recently. However, as ironical as it may sound the actor apparently will be playing the role of a failed actor in Dibakar Banerjee’s film.

In fact, before he became an actor, Nawaz even worked as a watchman in Delhi. A source says, “While working as a security guard, Nawaz developed an interest in theatre. He even continued working as a watchman after he arrived in Mumbai to try his hand at acting. He got a small role in Peepli [Live] and his career took off from there.”
Nawaz says it was all about waiting for the right opportunity. He says, “I have done a lot of jobs before I became an actor. I cannot forget my struggling days.” u00a0
