Pets can bring great joy in life, but the moment you set out to capture them, all you may get are blurry pictures. In a bid to make this task simpler, photographer Arun Moras will conduct a pet photography workshop this weekend.

Bring your pet along for the hands-on session, presented by Pixelscapes, where Moras will share interesting tips and tricks to keep in mind while capturing your best friend on camera, in addition to explaining the technical aspects involved.

"One of the things to remember is that it's always better to photograph them in natural light. They are disturbed by the use of flash and studio lights," explains Moras, who took to pet photography two years ago.

He also shares that dogs, due to their friendly nature, are the easiest to photograph. "You can take them outdoors for the shoot, too. Cats, on the other hand, are best captured in their natural habitat. Moreover, each cat reacts differently. Some are curious about the camera, while others may run away. But, they make for amazing subjects simply because they are so majestic," he says.

Moras adds that the workshop is not meant for only those with pets, and even those looking to get into this niche field can join in. "But you must have a love for animals. Photographing them takes a lot of patience, and if you don't love them, you won't be able to do it."
