Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations was formed in 1958. In December 1967, the Council was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations is widely renowned as CISCE.
In ICSE board Exams stands for 10th board examination i.e. standard X and the ISC board Examination stands for 12th board examination i.e. standard XII. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations regulates and supervises the development of school education in nation.

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations conducts three most important exams i.e. ICSE, ISC & CVE - Year 12 Exam. The subject choices and syllabuses offered for these examinations are different and intended for development of individuals.
Indian School Certificate Examination and Indian Certificate of Secondary Education used to to provide a course of general learning, in harmony with the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986 to the students. However, the students are not allowed to sit for the 10th & 12th examination through open board.
The board used to conduct XII Exam every year in the month of March. In Similar mode board has conducted XII board exam in the month of March. The XII board scores to be announced today at 3 PM. However, ICSE scores to be announced on 21st May at 3 PM.
