Director David Gordon Green has been signed on to direct Boston Marathon bombing film, Stronger.
The drama will focus on Jeff Bauman, a survivor who lost both his legs in the attack. John Pollono has written the script for the film produced by David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Scott Silver, who worked together on David O Russell’s The Fighter.

Stronger will chronicle the story of Bauman, who was waiting for his girlfriend at the finish line of the annual marathon when two pressure cooker bombs exploded, killing three people and injuring more than 260.
Bauman wrote his experience as a key witness in the trial of bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his attempts at rehab in a book titled, Stronger that he co-wrote with Bret Witter.
