He will play top seed Adrian Waller of England in Sunday's final. Waller beat qualifier Karim El Hammamy of Egypt 11-3,12-10,15-13 in the other semi-final that lasted for 75 minutes.

Given his inconsistent form, Mangaonkar is keen to make this one count. "I haven't had a great year so far and I hope that this tournament gives me that needed boost.

This is the first final for me this year," said Mangaonkar, who lost in the semis at the Victorian Open in Melbourne last month.

Meanwhile, among the women, No 3 seed Joshna Chinappa beat Fiona Moverley of England 11-9, 11-4, 11-8 to enter the final. She will play top seed Habiba Mohamed of Egypt in Sunday's final.
