The film, to be directed by Rajkumar Hirani, stars actor Ranbir Kapoor, who will play the role of Dutt on screen.

There were reports that Kareena, who is the cousin of Ranbir, will play the role of "Munnabhai" actor's politician-sister Priya Dutt in the film.

Asked if she was offered the film, Kareena today told PTI, "I read the reports too. But no, that's really false... Nobody has told me about it."

The biopic, produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, will touch upon every aspect of Dutt's turbulent life - from the age of 17 till present.

No actress has been finalised for the movie yet.

The "3 Idiots" actress was speaking at the launch of a new flavour of an ice cream brand. The 35-year-old said she has a sweet tooth and is more of an ice cream girl which has connected her with the brand.

"I have a sweet tooth. I try not to indulge in it everyday... Because of my diet, you have to (control)... I am more of an ice cream girl and the brand is also very elegant and royal, which has exotic beautiful flavours.
