A heatwave has gripped the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with Wardha recording the highest temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Friday

Nagpur: A heatwave has gripped the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra with Wardha recording the highest temperature of 45 degrees Celsius on Friday.


It was followed by Chandrapur at 44.6 degrees. Akola recorded maximum temperature of 44.4 degrees Celsius, Amravati 43.2, Bramhapuri 44, Gondia 41.6, Nagpur 44.2 and Yavatmal 43, the Regional Meteorology Centre in Nagpur said
