It is Raveena Tandon and not Vidya Balan who will apparently replace Tabu in an Irrfan Khan in 'Silver Jubilee' to be directed by Anurag Singh

If all goes well Raveena Tandon is going to star opposite Irrfan Khan in 'Silver Jubilee' to be directed by Anurag Singh (he helmed the National Award winning film, 'Punjab 1984').

Says a source, "The project was supposed to go on floors earlier this year, but got delayed due to a number of issues. Tabu was to essay the lead role and although she was excited to reunite with Irrfan — the duo's chemistry has been appreciated in several films such as 'Maqbool' (2003), 'Haider' (2014), 'Life of Pi' (2012) and 'The Namesake' (2007)—she had to walk out as the delay was causing her dates to clash with another film. Now Raveena has been offered the film and in all probability she is going to give it her nod."

Earlier there was buzz that Vidya Balan will replace Tabu but the former couldn't take up the film. Says another source, "Raveena is currently shooting for her film Shab in New Delhi and it is a long 14-day schedule. She has liked the script, which revolves around a married couple and how they go about solving their problems, and will take the final call once she is back in the city."

Raveena Tandon and Ekta Kapoor, producer of the film, remained unavailable for comment.
