A process of removing loose boulders and other repair work is being carried out on Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has planned to keep a mini-block for every 15 minutes due to the same, as a result of which traffic will be affected.

To avert landslides and boulder accidents, at the E-way, which claimed a few lives last monsoon, repair work is being carried out at Adoshi tunnel and Amrutanjan Bridge on June 15 and 16.

MSRDC's executive engineer Sanjay Gargude said, "Last year, during monsoon, landslide and boulder incidents were reported. Hence, repair work is being done. The process of removing loose boulders and debris will go on between 12 noon and 4 pm for two days.”
