In a rare case, a 22-year-old woman has given birth to 'Siamese twins' at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Latur district of Maharashtra, doctors said on Sunday

Aurangabad (Maha): In a rare case, a 22-year-old woman has given birth to 'Siamese twins' at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Latur district of Maharashtra, doctors said on Sunday.


The woman, Tasleen Masuldar last night gave birth to the 'Siamese twins', doctor Bhaurao Yadav, who performed a Cesarean on her, told PTI.


"The two children have two hands, two legs, separate heads each but they posses a common liver and heart," he said.


According to Yadav, the patient hails from Sastur village and now her condition is stable.
