A 25-year-old tiffin delivery boy has been arrested for attempting to rape a 6-year-old girl in the school toilet.

The accused, Aziz Khan, had been delivering tiffin boxes to schools in the area for over a year and a half. On Thursday, the accused saw the survivor walking towards the toilet. He followed her into the toilet and locked the door. He then attempted to rape her, however, when the girl began to scream, the accused gagged her mouth with a cloth and masturbated on her. He threatened her, left her inside the toilet and escaped the school premises.
“After masturbating on the girl, he threatened her and escaped from the school. The girl went inside the classroom, but was badly shaken. She was unable to concentrate on what was being said in the class or even look up when someone addressed her during those hours. As soon as school got over at 11.30 am and the girl saw her mother had come to pick her up, she broke down and narrated the entire incident. Her parents immediately rushed to the principal and then came to us to file a complaint,” a police official from RAK Marg police station said.
The harrowing incident
According to RAK Marg police station officials, the survivor is a student of senior KG and her school timings are from 8.30 am to 11.30 am. Cops said the incident took place on Thursday morning, just before the recess. Aziz had already picked up her tiffin from her home and reached the school premises. A police officer said, “Aziz delivered tifffin boxes on second, third and fourth floors. The girl’s classroom is on first floor.”

The officials from RAK Marg police station officials nabbed Aziz within two hours of filing the complaint. He has been charged under Sections 376, 354, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and other sections under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was produced in the court yesterday and remanded in police custody.
Deprived?
Aziz, meanwhile, has confessed to the crime. Apparently, he told cops that he got married 6 months ago, but his wife doesn’t permit him to have a physical relationship with her and, therefore, he assaulted the 6-year-old.
