A fire broke out in a shop in Lamington Road in south Mumbai. 4 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused at 5.00 am

A fire broke out in a shop in Lamington Road in south Mumbai. 4 fire tenders were rushed to the spot.


The fire is reported near Minerva Cinema Navjeevan society, Lamington road.

Fire was doused at 5.00 pm. Cooling operations are now underway.

Lamington Road, officially Dr. Dadasaheb Bhadkamkar Marg was named after Lord Lamington, the Governor of Bombay between 1903 and 1907. Known as the IT hub of Mumbai, it is a busy thoroughfare near Grant Road station.
