Though Katy has seemingly made reference to the tension between them during Taylor’s recent public spat with reality TV star Kim Kardashian and ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris, her mother Mary Hudson insists she’s currently trying to 'rise' above it all. But Katy's father Keith Hudson says that doesn’t mean the end of their war, reports a website. "Katy released Rise. It says, 'My feet have been put to the fire but I will rise’. That’s what she’s about right now,” Mary said.


Keith added: "You know it ain’t over yet."

Katy became embroiled in Taylor's row with Calvin — who she split from in June, a few weeks before she began romancing British actor Tom Hiddleston — after it emerged that Taylor secretly wrote his track This is what you came for.
