Kids, solve a mystery

Cycle to the caves
While the whole world is busy with Pokemon, why not indulge in some old-school exploration? Cycle from Karjat through the village of Kondiwade, up till the base of Rajmachi Fort. The Maverick
AUG 4, 8.45 PM: IF Kishore Kumar was alive, he would have turned 87 on August 4. Even 29 years after Kishore
Kumar’s death,generations of young musicians and singers continue to be inspired by his work. To pay tribute to the genius, a local organisation will hold a musical at Dinanath Mangeshkar Natya Griha Hall in Vile Parle on August 4. Sujeet Kumar, who is popularly known as junior Kishore Kumar and coincidentally even looks like the legend, will belt out popular Kishore songs. Kumar, who holds these tribute nights for Kishoreda every year will be playing with a host of other musicians in this three-hour tribute show. He will play songs like Ek ladkhi bheege bhaagi si, Nakhrewaali, Rim jhim gire saawan, Ghungroo ki tarah, Jhum jhum jhumroo amongst others.

Peek through the door

Witness Agnes’ battle
AUG 4, 9 PM: Watch Kaizaad Kotwal’s Agnes of God that was caught in a whirlwind of protests When it released. Written originally by American playwright John Pielmeier in 1982, the play is said to be based on a true story. A young nun, Sister Agnes, is accused of killing her newborn child. The court appoints psychiatrist Dr Martha Livingston to determine the nun’s mental stability.
