New Delhi: A BJP member from Uttar Pradesh today faced embarrassment in Lok Sabha as he remained clueless about a question listed in his name during Question Hour, prompting Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to ask him whether he remembered his query.
The Speaker took the name of Machhlishahr MP Ram Charitra Nishad asking him to pose the question relating to tea production in the country. As the MP was hesitant to say anything, the Speaker asked him whether he remembered that he had asked a question.

"Do you remember that you have asked a question? You don't even remember that you have asked something," an anguished Mahajan remarked. Nishad too responded by saying that he did not remember asking the question. The Speaker then moved on to other proceedings.
