Disha Patani will make her Bollywood debut with MS Dhoni - The Untold Story. She plays the character of the cricketer’s former girlfriend whom he lost in an accident. She also has the Jackie Chan-starrer Kung Fu Yoga. Her films may not have released yet, but the Rae Bareilly girl, who moved to Mumbai to pursue acting, is already a familiar name — she is referred to as Tiger Shroff’s girlfriend.

Disha, however, maintains, “Right now ,people do not know me, so that is the tag I have to wear, but when my films release, they will know me by my name.” Early in her career, Disha has realised that link-ups are part of a celeb’s life. “Just because I have been seen with Tiger catching up on a movie or having lunch or dinner, people say we are dating. I am getting used to it now. If I were seen with Sushant Singh Rajput (co-star in Dhoni biopic), I would be linked with him too.”
Disha met Tiger two years ago and the two got along like a house on fire. “We are similar in many ways, so we connected. We love dancing and gymnastics.” Disha does gymnastics with Team Tiger on Juhu beach. “They follow Tiger’s steps,” she says.
