According to the Bhoiwada police, the accident took place around 6 am at Dadar TT. The Mahindra pick-up milk van was heading south when the driver lost control of the wheel and ran the vehicle over the divider. The vehicle then fell over on the road and two taxis hit it.

“We are in the process of registering an offence and cannot divulge information yet. In the preliminary probe, the driver said he lost control of the wheel. We will record statements of all the injured and then accordingly an offence will be registered,” said assistant inspector Mukesh Dhage of Bhoiwada police station.

Traffic on the stretch was affected for about an hour until the milk van was cleared from the road.
