The Justice Lodha Committee will meet today in Delhi to discuss the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) problems in implementing their recommendations. According to Aditya Verma, the petitioner in the 2013 Indian Premier League edition, the committee could also decide to work at the BCCI headquarters in Mumbai since they feel the cricket board is not keen on reforms.

“The Lodha Committee may take a decision to request the Supreme Court for permission to enter the BCCI headquarters and work from there. I am confident that the Supreme Court will grant the committee that permission. This will only add to BCCI’s worries,” Verma told mid-day on Saturday.

‘Loopholes in petition’
Verma, the Cricket Association of Bihar’s (CAB) secretary, said: “The BCCI filed a review petition on August 16, but they have deliberately not responded to some queries raised by the Supreme Court.

“They are simply trying to kill time and give the impression that the Supreme Court is yet to take a decision on their petition. The review petition will not be placed before the bench with such loopholes.”
