The show also bagged the Outstanding Directing award for a drama series for its famous episode – 'The Battle of the Bastards'. Now, the series, with a total of 38 Emmy wins is the most awarded TV show in Emmys history since 1949 beating Frasier!
A huge achievement for the series, 'Game of Thrones' that airs in India on Star World Premiere HD won 38 awards in just 6 seasons as opposed to Frasier's 37 wins across its 11 seasons!
With two more seasons to go, it seems like the show is going to create a record that will be almost impossible for any TV show to beat in future!
