Srinagar: The Army yesterday foiled two infiltration bids along the Line of Control by terrorists trying to sneak into Kashmir Valley from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
“Even as counter-infiltration operations continue in Uri and Nowgam sectors, two more infiltration bids have been successfully foiled by the army at two different places in Nowgam sector,” an army spokesman said.

One terrorist killed
In one of the encounters, one terrorist was killed in Bandipora district, the police said. The terrorist was killed in Aragam Chitti Bandi village. Security forces had surrounded the village on information about the presence of terrorists.
