The desire to take a selfie with a python went awfully awry when a man who was trying to take a snap, with the snake in Rajasthan's Mount Abu district met with a not-so-good end.

In the video, the man was attempting to take a selfie with a huge python which was carefully being held by four people. As the man inched closer to the animal to take a selfie with it, the snake attacked him with its gigantic fangs.

The strike took the man by surprise as he hadn't noticed the snake was about to strike as he was busy trying to get a good angle on his phone camera to capture the best picture.
