An Australian man is still in search of a reason that could explain the increase in the size of his belly after he drank beer from a can that he had knocked in the Brisbane River in Queensland in March 2012
After John Macdonald’s belly swelled, he suffered a spell of violent illness due to which he had to undergo four operations and several courses of antibiotics, according to news reports.
Macdonald, who is yet to recover from the hernia-like blob of flesh that sits on his belly, said that he wants to tell his story to the world in the hope that someone somewhere might answer his prayers and finally get him well.

The 60-year-old fisherman and grandfather has pleaded with doctors to help him out as he wants to be around for his kids and little grandchild.
