But instead of hiring elaborate costumes, the pair sported every day black clothes with scarves pulled over their faces.
The lovers wore the effortless garb to go trick or treating around the Melbourne suburb of Brighton with their kids.
Shane seemed pretty excited by his efforts, tweeting his lady before they headed out.
He said, "@ElizabethHurley found some swords - let the battle begin. No tears please !"
