Director Janardhan is all set to shoot Missamma, which is the Telugu remake of a film with the same name. He is looking for a suitable heroine and has spoken to Pooja Gandhi and Nikitha, who have shown interest in the project, he says.
But the actress whom Janardhan is really interested in featuring in his movie is Ramya. "She is an established actress and carries a reputation for being a talented performer," he gushes.
Janardhan says in this film, the heroine has a more substantial role than the hero. He explains, "The movie is a romantic melodrama and the main character, Missamma, flirts with a married man."
In the Telugu original, Bhumika Chawla played the title role. The audio recording has been completed and plans are afoot to shoot three songs in Washington and New York.
