New Delhi: A Class XII student of Lucknow has won the Creativity Expression Contest organised jointly by External Affairs Ministry and CBSE during the India-Africa Forum Summit.


The poem on Mahatma Gandhi by Vikas Pandey of Class XII of Rameshwaram International Academy, Lucknow was declared winner in the IX to XII category at the National Level. His Hindi poem 'Gandhi aur Africa' has clinched the prize of Rs 40,000.


"He was invited by External Affairs Ministry to attend the ministerial session of the India-Africa Forum Summit in New Delhi. He also witnessed the India-Africa Forum Exhibition and met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj," Abha Shah, Principal of the Academy said.
