Los Angeles: Pop stars Madonna and Beyonce are likely to rock the Grammy awards stage later this month.
A website reports that according to two sources in the knowledge of plans, the two performers will be among the surprise moments in the ceremony here on January 26.
While Beyonce may make her first televised performance in support of her latest self-titled album, Madonna might lend guest vocals during a performance from one of the night’s nominees.
Longtime Grammy Awards show producer Ken Ehrlich has said he “can’t confirm” an appearance from Beyonce, and he neither confirmed nor denied Madonna's involvement.
“Let’s put it this way … we have a really great history that goes back to the early days of 'Destiny’s Child'.
“I love working with (Beyonce). She’s incredible. She is so into what it is that she does and making sure that everybody who sees her walks away saying, ‘wow’. Should she be on the show this year? I would think that the potential is there for that kind of moment," he added.
Representatives of both artists have not yet commented.
