Vinita Jayant takes her passion (and her nickname) to fashion a range of accessories with a tonne of attitude
At under-five feet tall, Vinita Jayant's college nickname would seem apt: Tiny, which might also explain its use in her accessory label, Tiny's Lovely Little Treasures. Tiny's, launched in February this year, has charm bracelets, necklaces, rings, anklets, fascinators, hair bows, clips, bands and handbag charms to choose from. Bows and butterflies find their way on to most of the range; not surprising, given that they are among Vinita's favourite things.

Though not from a design background, Vinita was making baubles from an early age, with help from her mother.
"I started by designing anklets and clips as gifts for my friends," says the 21-year-old Mumbaikar, and student of pharmacy.
With help from my friends
Goaded by friends, Vinita decided to put a price tag on her creations and reach out to a wider audience. The first step of which was to create a Facebook page showcasing her creations, which she did with help from a friend who took the photographs.
Partner and best friend Brijesh Rakshit doubles as financer, pitching in with conceptualisation for products that are targetted at the college fashionista and working woman. Orders can be couriered anywhere in India. They need a minimum of two days for delivery, post payment. Look out for customised shot glasses, which the duo plans to soon introduce.
