The 24-year-old actress and the British actor are taking a break from each other, according to a close pal, People magazine reported online. "But they're great friends and could still get back together," said the friend.

The couple met while filming the 2008 musical in which they played on-screen lovers. They had maintained a long-distance relationship ever since which Seyfried had said was not very 'easy'. She also admitted in a recent interview that she wasn't sure if her Cooper is the one.
Seyfried is currently busy promoting her latest movie Letters to Juliet and has already appeared in the lead in movies Dear John and Chloe. Cooper, 31, on the other hand, has been at the Cannes Film Festival, where he was spotted with Seyfried's former Mean Girls co-star Lindsay Lohan.
