Man clicks selfie, sends it to wife and hangs self in Vasai

It seems the selfie craze is slowly driving people insane, as this time a man took a selfie and sent it to his wife before committing suicide by hanging himself while under the influence of alcohol

It seems the selfie craze is slowly driving people nuts, as this time a man took a selfie and sent it to his wife before committing suicide.

He hanged himself under the influence of alcohol late on Friday night at Vasai (E).   

The deceased has been identified as Parvez Barkatulla Khan (22). He used to reside at Evershine Nagar, Vasai (E). After his parents found him hanging from the ceiling fan in the morning, they informed the police.

During investigation it was found that the deceased got married just two months ago and his relationship with his wife was quite strained. They had frequent fights. A couple of days back when they had a fight,  his wife left the house and went to her maternal home.

Police says
"Yesterday Khan returned home drunk and called up his wife. Thereafter, he send her a selfie and hanged himself from the ceiling fan," says a police officer from Waliv police station.

He further added, "Statements of the deceased's family could not be recorded as they are in a state of shock. After panchnama the body has been sent for postmortem at the city hospital. Further investigation into the case is on."
