A man, said to be mentally disturbed, killed his younger brother, and then committed suicide at his home in Jharkhand's Simdega district Monday, police said

Mona Manjhi, a resident of Kersai village, hacked his younger brother Munna Manjhi to death. He then locked himself in a room and committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan.

"Mentally disturbed for the past six months, Mona got upset over remarks of his younger brother and hacked him to death. He then committed suicide," a local police official told IANS over telephone.
