Man jailed for poisoned letters to Obama
The 42-year-old is sentenced to 25 years after pleading guilty to the crime
Washington: A former US martial arts instructor has pleaded guilty to sending poison-laced letters to US President Barack Obama and other officials.
James Everett Dutschke would serve 25 years in prison after he reached a plea agreement with the prosecutors. Prosecutors said that the 42-year-old tried to frame Elvis impersonator Paul Kevin Curtis, who was initially charged in the investigation. Dutschke has been jailed since April on charges of sending the letters to Barack Obama, Republican US Senator Roger Wicker, and a Mississippi judge.
