Man places ad in newspaper for wife's rape
A man from Idaho has been charged for seeking men to rape his wife by placing ad in the "casual encounters" section of classifieds website Craigslist. The 32-year-old man had been accused on Monday on charges of solicitation of rape and burglary
The name of the man has been withheld to protect the identity of the intended victim.
According to the prosecutors, the man, without his wife’s knowledge or consent, posted a classified ad posing as a woman who fantasised about being raped, and then exchanged emails with the men who had responded to arrange the assaults, News24 reported.
Twin Falls police had been called to the woman’s house shortly after midnight on Thursday and again on Saturday afternoon after reports of men breaking into her house.
The first man had fled when the woman’s handgun went off during a struggle. She held the second man at gunpoint until the police arrived.
According to police, the husband had instructed the second man to force his way into the home, rape the woman and “not stop no matter how much she resisted.”
