The much-maligned Dutchman has been heavily criticised for his side's boring football this season with the Old Trafford crowd regularly screaming "attack, attack, attack" at the players.

And now the club's main sponsor Adidas seem to be getting in on the joke.

The sportswear giant - which has a £750million 10-year deal with United - are selling T-shirts and hoodies in the club shops with the message: "Duty to entertain".

"It only came in a couple of weeks ago," a staff member at the Old Trafford shop told the Sun.

"I can't believe we are stocking it, it surely is something which should have come out at the the start of the season, rather than after such bad results."
