Pep Guardiola enjoyed a derby success over arch-rival Jose Mourinho on Saturday courtesy the Manchester Derby clash as Manchester City defeated Manchester United 2-1 in an absorbing Premier League match.

Two goals were scored in the first half, one each by Kevin de Bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho, which gave City an impressive 2-0 lead. Later an error by Claudio Bravo gave opponent Zlatan Ibrahimovic a goal late in the same half.

It did not cost City much though as they held on to the lead. As a result of the latest victory, City now have four wins from four and top the table. United, on their hand, suffered their first defeat.
